Yep, MCAS mast cell activation syndrome is real in peri. Check out Lara Briden's info on MCAS and progesterone. I've heard some great interviews with her She also wrote the book, Hormone Repair Manual which talks all about perimenopause and reducing the symptoms. Ordering mine now!

Hope you get some real answers soon. Hugs

Ugh, I wish I could leave hearts on specific paragraphs, because I did feel compeled to several times, but now the only one I can remember is bota box so just take that virtual box toast.

I suspect I am inching toward these things but, thanks to post-partum IUD I haven't menstratued since obama was in the white house (good timing on my part).

Welcome to Hag!! I will happily toast you with Bota Box wines both white and red.

And I am also hoping (though it's not super likely) to ride out the worst of perimenopause with my Lo Loestrin (or, as the Redditors call it, Lolo) then skate into HRT.

Well. It's worth a shot? Though the Lolo does bring its own set of issues (like emotional volatility and extreme fatigue for a few days around the time I'd usually menstruate). Still, I prefer those side effects to full-body hives!
